The GH1102EBPSR-V3.0 single-channel dual-port fiber optic 100G Bypass Ethernet server adapter manufactured by Guangruntong is a PCI-Express X16 network interface card. This PCI-E adapter includes two MPO interface 100G Ethernet ports (containing two 100G multimode 100M optical modules). This adapter is designed for inline network systems and can maintain network connectivity in the event of system failure..
The GH1102EBPSR-V3.0 dual-port MPO 100G Ethernet Bypass server adapter supports normal Ethernet mode, bypass mode, and disconnect mode. In normal Ethernet mode, the ports are independent interfaces. In bypass mode, all packets received from one port are transmitted to the adjacent port. In disconnect mode, the adapter simulates a switch/path cable disconnection.
The GH1102EBPSR-V3.0 server adapter can bypass or disconnect its Ethernet ports in the event of host system failure, power-off, or software request timeout. In bypass mode, the Ethernet port connection is disconnected from the system and switched to another port to create a cross-connection loopback between the Ethernet ports. Therefore, in bypass mode, all data received from one port is sent to the adjacent port, and vice versa. This feature bypasses a faulty system and provides the longest possible uptime for the network. The GH1102EBPSR-V3.0 dual-port MPO 100G PCIE Bypass server adapter includes an onboard WDT (Watchdog Timer) controller. The adapter's software driver or software application can write commands to the onboard WDT controller. The adapter's software driver, WDT controller, and bypass circuitry provide an interface for controlling and managing the adapter's modes.
